The Stony Point Solar Car Team is a a passionate and dynamic group of aspiring engineers that creates a solar powered vehicle and races it at the annual competition. The solar car is completely engineered by us from the ground up. This project provides us with a rare chance to expand our classroom knowledge and collaborate with industry professionals while creating a road-worthy vehicle powered by the sun! The annual competition tests our abilities to apply our mechanical and electrical knowledge, and work as a cohesive unit to achieve a common goal.
